Other animals are frequently represented in the animal rights movement as being powerless, silent, and even invisible. Go Vegan World has always endeavoured to accurately represent other animals and the issues they face at our human hands, and it respects their right to be at the forefront of any advocacy efforts engaged in on their behalf. Sandra Higgins will explain how Go Vegan World is inspired and informed by animals who have escaped human use and are resident at Eden Farmed Animal Sanctuary in Ireland. She will discuss the skills and tactics used in the work of Go Vegan World that centres the animals in their own animal rights movement, whilst respecting the intersectional human and environmental issues resulting from speciesism.
